Privacy policy

Last updated June 2026.

A care log is intimate. This policy explains, in plain language, what Foveia collects, how it's used, and the control your family keeps over it.

Template notice: this is a starter policy for the Foveia site scaffold. Have it reviewed by qualified counsel and tailored to your data practices and jurisdiction before launch.

What we collect

  • Account details — names, email addresses, and roles of people in a care circle.
  • Care records you create — check-ins, concerns, tasks, appointments, and notes.
  • Document links — the URL and label you add. We do not store the files themselves.
  • Basic usage data — needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How we use it

We use your information to provide the service, apply the deterministic attention rules you can read, send account and service messages, and keep Foveia secure. We do not sell your data, and we do not train AI models on your family's care records.

Roles and access

Access is scoped by role — Owner, Family, and Helper. Helpers see only the recipients and contexts they've been added to. You control who is invited and at what level.

Your control

  • Export your care record at any time.
  • Delete your circle and associated data.
  • Manage and revoke invitations and roles.

Not a medical record

Foveia is a coordination tool, not a medical device or health record system. A family care coordination tool — not a medical device. Foveia never diagnoses, scores, or predicts.
